Scout Night Registration

Dirt Oval @ Route 66 Raceway hosts “SCOUT NIGHT” as part of our Round 4 Team Demolition Derby event each year. The 2020 Scout Night will take place on August 22, 2020.

We want to thank you all for your continued participation in our annual Scout Night, and or encourage you to plan on attending this event because it truly is an event you won’t want your troop to miss!

This is an event we truly love and are so happy to see grow! Kids and Young Adults being involved in Motorsports is a true passion for all of us @ Dirt Oval. With that being said, it is time to start preparing for Scout Night 2020.

This year, Scout Night will take place Friday evening through Sunday morning August 21st-23rd.

Free Overnight camping available on Friday August 21st as well as Saturday August 22nd. 

Friday August 21st 

Join us for a sleepover at the track! Scouts will join us for campfire & camp activities! Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. for check in. Activities will begin at Dusk. The Scout Night activities that your troop needs to pre-register for take place on Saturday August 22nd beginning at 10:00am sharp.

Saturday August 22nd

Below is a list of the TEAM BUILDING activities that will take place:

Automotive Hands on Interactive Maintenance Class

Team Building Activity 

Painting of Team Demo Cars

Meet and Greet with Team Demolition Derby Drivers

Scouts will earn a Dirt Oval 66 Badge( provided by DO66) for participating in all the activities as well as having the opportunity to earn their Automotive Maintenance Merits Badge/Car Care Badge and Camping Badge (provided by leader).

Part of our Opening Ceremonies for this event, includes ALL Troops/Packs and is an introduction to each troop along with flag ceremony and National Anthem prior to Race 1. Troops/Packs will need to be in uniform and ready at 6:30pm Saturday evening if they plan to participate.

 *If troops/packs are participating in the opening ceremonies, please indicate this on your registration form and state how your troop/pack would like to be announced.

Ticketing is as follows:

EACH PERSON MUST have a ticket to the event on Saturday August 22nd to participate in any of the Scout Night activities/festivities. 

Each ticket includes ALL Scout Night activities (Friday and Saturday), including camping as well as your admission to the race Saturday evening.

This is a general admission venue. All tickets are sold on a first come basis and do have the possibility of selling out in advance. We encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance.

Scout Junior Ticket (ANY participating Scouts and/or junior participating in Scout Activities Ages 3-12) $20.00.

Scout Adult Ticket (Anyone participating in Scout Activities ages 13 and up) $25.00.

*1 ticket per participating Scout and/or chaperone must be purchased in advance and includes weekend admission and activities.

In order to accommodate this growing event, ALL tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets must be present upon arriving at the track Friday and/or Saturday.

*If you or your troop chooses to arrive after our General Opening at 4pm on event day (Saturday), each vehicle will be charged $5 for General Parking.

Our office is open Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm for any in person, ticket purchases.
