Carnage in the campground! The 2025 RV demolition derby was absolute chaos and we’re doing it again for the 2026 Eve of Haunted Destruction! Find a Class C motorhome, make sure no one is actually still living inside of it, grab a helmet and get ready to smash it in to a pile of aluminum & firewood. This is a traditional county-fair style demolition derby format. Last vehicle standing is the winner. 

Payout: 1st Place $1500 | $100 to start | $500 if you leave your RV with us! 

RV/Motorhome Requirements:

  • This event is strictly for Class C Recreational Vehicle Motorhomes – the boxy RVs built on a van or truck chassis and may include an over-cab sleeping area.
  • No Class A “bus-style” rigs and no Class B camper vans.
  • No box trucks or mini vans.
  • All RVs are subject to a basic safety safety inspection before competition.
  • If leaving your RV behind at end of the night, please bring the Title (if available) and inform a staff member at sign-in. 

RV/Motorhome Preparation:

  • All glass (except windshield) removed or taped up.
  • Strip or secure the inside contents; couches, fridges, toliets, etc., must be bolted down or gone.
  • Remove ladders, awnings, and roof racks.
  • Remove all propane tanks.
  • RV must be able to stop, steer, and not leak fuel. 
  • Doors must be chained, welded, or locked shut.
  • Tires must be safe and inflated. No tractor treads or spikes.
  • Number must be big, bold, and visible on both sides and the roof.
  • No crazy reinforcements. If you turn your RV into a tank, it will not compete.

Safety & Conduct Requirements:

  • Driver must be at least sixteen (16) years of age with valid proof of license. Ages 16 & 17 must have parent/guardian present to sign wavier.
  • Driver must fill out all proper paperwork and registration on event day.
  • Attendance at pre-race drivers meeting is mandatory.
  • Race transponder is mandatory. If you need to rent one, contact us for more info (email:rules@dirtoval66.com).
  • Full face helmet, seat belt and long sleeve pants and shirt are mandatory.  A fire suit is recommended.
  • No passengers! No driver’s door hits! No sandbagging to eek out a win.
  • Must use reasonable speed. This isn’t Nascar. Low speed generates plenty of wreckage with these RVs! 
  • Red flag = all vehicles stop now. Yellow flag = slow down. Safety crews have all right-of-way and must be able to quickly access the track. 
  • Dirt Oval 66 officials decision are final
