It’s time to mow down the competition! The Dirt Oval 66 lawn mower demo derby is more chaotic every year! Loud & destructive impacts with piles of chopped-up tractor parts is what you can expect in this hard-hitting turf war.

Become the ultimate blade runner (note: blades not allowed, but puns are welcome) and bring your tractor on October 24 to find out who is a cut above the rest.

Build and Competition Rules:

  1. Any front-engine lawn mower/tractor. No rear engine versions, such as Snappers and zero-turn configurations.
  2. Decks must be removed.
  3. Must have welded bars on the side of the mower for leg protection.
  4. If the gas tank or battery is in front of the motor, you must move it to a safe place.
  5. A hand throttle to the carb wide open is allowed.
  6. Secure the hood by welding, bolts or #9 wire.
  7. You may weld on a front and rear bumper that is to be no taller than 15 inches and may only be as wide as the front tires.
  8. No excessively thick bumpers. Use your good judgment!
  9. No frame reinforcement is allowed except for what is needed to mount the bumpers and leg cage area.
  10. You may change pulleys for your desired gearing.
  11. No foam filled tires or studs. Nothing may protect the tires except for chains on rear tires.
  12. No hitting the leg area of the mowers.
  13. Helmet and long sleeve shirt or fire jacket are required.
  14. No homebuilt mowers.
  15. 18 horsepower maximum.
  16. Numbers should be on the hood or a sign attached to the mower.
  17. Minimum driver age is 16. Ages 16 & 17 must have parent/guardian present to sign wavier.

PAYOUT: 1st – $1,000 | 2nd – $600 | 3rd – $400 | 4th – $200 | 5th – $100 | 6th – $50
Minimum 4 entries for full payout of top 4 spots.

The last surviving mower moving under it’s own power is the winner.
Online registration is recommended. No additional entry fee. All drivers must purchase $38 pit pass for Eve of Haunted Destruction. Pit pass also includes general admission grandstand access for the entire show.
