Let’s try this again! The rain is gone; it’s time to RACE!

Last weekend’s weather forced rescheduling Round 4 to this Saturday, September 3rd. On the plus side, it’s a double-header of destruction @ The Dirt Oval! Tournament of Destruction on Saturday then Crash Fest on Sunday! Tickets are available for BOTH events!

3 ways to get your tickets:

DirtOval66.com | Call 815-740-8000 |
At the gate on race day with ZERO fees!

If you have an original Round 4 ticket dated 8/27, it is valid as-is for this Saturday. You do not need to exchange or get a new ticket to enter the grandstands.

Round 4 is still “Scout Night” and, potentially, “Elimination Night” for Teams clinging to survival in the Championship standings. Pick your favorite, choose a side and watch ’em collide. Plus, Figure-8 racing & fireworks will make it another explosive Tournament of Destruction event!

Team Demolition Derby Labor Day Weekend Throwback Photos

1999-1
1999-2

9/4/1999 – The second ever Team Demo event held at Route 66 Raceway and the only Labor Day Weekend race not caused by a rain out. Orange Crush defeated Rude Awakening, White Lightning and Locomotives and did so with #Six, the late Steven Scarbro, winning all three rounds with the same car!

9/3/2004 – A rare Friday night Tournament of Destruction and the event that ended Locomotives’ 2004 undefeated streak at the hands of Road Rage in the first round. Havoc then defeated Road Rage in the Semi-Finals only to then borrow cars from Road Rage to race and defeat Stranglehold in the Finals. Joe Snow drove one car for Damage, Inc through the barrier wall then drove an Orange Crush car on top of the wall during the Consolation Race.

9/1/2007 – 2 separate rain outs pushed Rounds 3 and 4 into the same calendar month to close out the season. Orange Crush reached their only Finals appearance of 2007 and fell in defeat to Havoc who claimed their 2nd win of the year and had the Championship in sight… then were dealt a shocking loss 3-weeks later, losing the title to Killer Bees.

9/3/2016 – The final 2 events of 2016 are both in September with the same 3-week gap as in 2007. How will it all unfold this year? Find out beginning Saturday @ The Dirt Oval!
